I need to shed few pounds off me. Lockdowns, work from home, studio practice are the reasons y'all. This year I had decided to run few days in a week. I got my gears and essentials to motivate me to take that first step. That first step is THE thing, but you know how hard it is. I'm questioned at home why I haven't started. It's not that I'm lazy.. there are too many things on my plate. I don't even know what to say. Words Fail me. But on a serious note, there should not be any compromises on health. It's time to hit the ground running.

Sometimes things are very disorganized. When I say things, I mean self service food outlets/stalls in India. Why aren't there any queues at the billing counter. There is too much commotion and confusion every time I visit the popular ones. God save the poor billing/ service guy or the girl. Men who think they don't have much time on their hand, just storm right in without even acknowledging the person who is right at the front. Yes I was there trying to get my bill, but the men wouldn't let me. You know, I lose my temper and have told every single men who cannot be considerate to go back and stand in the queue. Looking at the system of how things run, words Fail me.

I am a sucker for pasta and even more a sucker for easy cooking. Off the shelf pasta packs does not cut it. Home made fresh pasta is too much too handle (Wet the drys, dry the wets, wet the drys..get it?). One day, my husband introduced me to artisanal home made fresh pasta which was new in the city. We just have to place the order and it delivers to our home. All that is needed is boiling and mixing the sauce. This small business is run by a young woman in her late 20s and the food is too damn delicious. Creamy, satisfying, umm... I mean.. words Fail me.
